» We need not justify the exercise of our rights to would-be tyrants

When asked what I do for a living I reply: I teach people how to shoot people. I teach people how to shoot people because some people need to be shot – and they need to be shot NOW.
….
Article II is about the individual’s ability to shoot tyrants – plain and simple.

It has nothing to do with hunting, collecting or competition. And tyranny, as I define it, may appear in the form of a rapist in the alley, a mob during civil unrest, an invading military, or one’s own government.
….
Joe Biden and Diane Feinstein may pretend that they don’t understand such things, but they do. They understand perfectly what AR15’s are for, and that’s exactly why their bodyguards have them. You see, like most criminals, they aren’t interested in a fight. They came about their power the old fashioned way, they lied, cheated and stole their way to the point where they are protected by men with guns at taxpayer expense. The notion of armed peasants in “their kingdom” scares the living hell out of them. It interferes with their plan ………….

» Federal court denies rehearing of concealed carry ruling, leaving Ill. lawmakers to draft law

A federal appeals court on Friday narrowly rejected Illinois’ request to reconsider a ruling that found the state’s concealed carry weapons ban unconstitutional, leaving lawmakers in the only state that still prohibits concealed carry more certain than ever they must come up with a new law.

» The disturbing pattern: Obama rids America’s military of yet another top general

I guess when (THHO)Obammy said

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

we mis-undermeant what he stood. Was he hinting that his intent was also to convert the military into something less than his private force?

» Liberalism = Depravity + Coercion

When a group aggressively favored by our liberal rulers is portrayed as being victimized, you know it is about to receive a new set of privileges at everyone else’s expense.
….
This literally means that teenage boys can demand access to the girls bathroom and locker room. Good thing moonbat educrats don’t run zoos; the lions would declare themselves to be gazelles to get themselves a hearty meal.

…. social engineering bullies use the word bullying the same way social engineering racists use the word racism.

Because of their authoritarian proclivities, surrendering to these sick freaks is not an option. Every sane, clean person has a moral responsibility to fight liberalism at every turn.

Taxpayer-Funded No-Show Jobs
» ObamaNation: At least $177 Million In Tax Dollars Paid For Federal Workers To Do Union Business

Many taxpayers may not realize that their tax dollars are used to pay government workers to actually conduct union business–not the work of the government.
This practice has the official name of Official Time and is defined by the Office of Personnel Management as:

Official time is time spent by Federal employees performing representational work for a bargaining unit in lieu of their regularly assigned work.

This is where you wonder what genius lawmaker thought that would be a good idea, then you just know that there was a (D) after the commgressmans name.

According to a report prepared by the Office of Personnel Management, the amount of time spent by federal workers to conduct union business has increased nearly 600,000 hours since 2007.

…. The Examiner’s Sean Higgins made note that, in FY 2011 (the last year recorded in the OPM report), federal government workers spent nearly 3.4 million hours performing union activities while on the job.

Since the average federal employee made over $108,000 in both salary and benefits (in 2008), or $52.15 per hour, the costs to taxpayers in FY 2011 was over $177 million for federal government workers to conduct union business.

Here’s one Pancho that probably hopes for deportation.
» Illegal alien charged with murdering Marine veteran in North Carolina

On Wednesday, police in Fayetteville arrested Francisco Echeverria, 24, after he allegedly gunned down 50-year-old Craig Spencer Morris who was riding his motorcycle at the time.

…. Morris was a former U.S. Marine and a member of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle club.

(THHO)Obama can’t help you now, Pancho.

Frankly, I’m hoping for acquittal and release back onto the streets – where justice will be served.

You Can’t Argue with That

» W.H. to cede Benghazi docs in Brennan fight

The White House is preparing to cede more ground to Senate Republican foes and hand over documents related to the Benghazi attacks to try to secure the confirmation of John Brennan to run the CIA

If and when docs are released, they will be found to contain fluff, redactions, redundant obfuscations and probably a lot of blank pages. Been there, done that.
The gutless Republicans in the Senate will fall for it and surrender to the confirmation. Been there, done that.

» REPUBLICANS SET TO CAVE ON HAGEL

It now appears that with the help of a few spineless Republicans, the most anti-Israel, isolationist, weak on national security Secretary of Defense nominee in recent history will head up our military

» Homeschoolers Face Ghosts of the Third Reich

Let me remind you that is the same Eric Holder, who was held in contempt of congress regarding Fast and Furious, who helped Paul Wilson Dorman by Vacating a Board of Immigration Appeals decision (DOMA case for a same-sex couple), and objects to the Supreme Court ruling that Law Enforcement can check the immigration status of people they have legally detained. And don’t forget this week’s leaked immigration legislation draft where Obama may offer amnesty to criminal immigrants.

Did you see the discrepancy? Eric Holder is inventing ways to allow those who do not legally qualify to enter the country to bypass legislation and (at the same time) is looking to strip the asylum that has already been granted — lawfully! — to an applicant that followed all the proper channels. Seriously, what does this say about their priorities?

» Why Do Democrats Hate American Manufacturers?

Here’s the latest example of head-splitting cognitive dissonance in Washington: President Obama used his State of the Union address to crusade for a revitalized U.S. manufacturing sector. But while he pays lip service to supporting businesses that build their products on American soil, Obama and his left-wing operatives are hell-bent on driving a key sector of the U.S. manufacturing industry six feet under: the American firearms and ammunition industry.

» Dem Senators look for someone to blame for Obamacare

Stay tuned. By the time we reach Jan. 1, 2014, those of us who didn’t get to keep our plan if we liked it can rely on Rep. Alan Grayson’s plan for health care: Don’t Get Sick.

An English teacher at Denton High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area allegedly refused to grade two student reports because they discussed guns.

“If it went against any district policy I would support it completely, but it doesn’t. It’s just his own moral beliefs trying to be put in his classroom and I disagree with that,” ….

Odds are great that this prickish teacher has never had his butt whipped by an indignant parent …. shame.

~~ via WesternJournalism.com : Obama Caught In Bald-Faced Lie On Sequester

…. it is clear that the sequester cuts were a product of the White House. It is also clear that Obama continues to get away with a bald-faced lie that the idea was something Congress proposed.

» Liberal “non-partisan” coalition urges “crippling”, videotracking of #NCGOP leaders

They claim they are non-partisan but that’s total bullsh*t. The Observer notes that the Blueprint website reads that they are ““strictly prohibited from participating or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.” If that’s the case, they could well be in violation of their own code (in spite of the group’s executive director dodging by suggesting their rule only applies to those running for office, not those already in it & governing) and, more importantly, its tax-exempt status. Will the state GOP press on this issue? Time will tell.

….
Obstructing what you feel may be bad policy is one thing; trying to “cripple” and “eviscerate” state government via its leaders is another matter entirely, and threats to do so should not be taken lightly, no matter who they come from. And the fact that this doesn’t come from an actual Democrat party official in this state but instead a collective of liberal advocacy groups shouldn’t ease anyone’s fears as to how much this memo could influence lawmakers. Blueprint is a coalition of LIBERAL orgs, and they are based in the state capitol – Raleigh. Don’t think more Democrat movers and shakers in positions of power there aren’t listening and taking notes. They hate being the minority party – they aren’t used to it – and they aren’t taking it well at all.
