An excerpt from the third novel of the Enemies Foreign and Domestic series by Matthew Bracken.

» Con-Con Con

WesternRifleShooters has posted this excerpt in an effort to show patriots what could happen if we were to allow Constitutional Convention to occur. A lot of us think it would be a good thing – more of us need to realize what could actually happen.

Read it. Then check out Bracken’s ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC.COM. Bracken began writing these novels in 2000, yet it’s as if he had a psychic’s view of the future. The events in the novels so closely parallel what is happening today, 12 years after he began writing, that you must consider that the next few years may be predicted from the same writing.
It is not a future to look forward to.

I read the entire trilogy a couple years ago and highly …. highly recommend that you purchase and read all three books.
Here, I’ll make it as easy as I can for ya:

In the first novel, a massive mass shooting leads to draconian gun control laws. From there the stage is set for total collapse and burial of free America; and with it – true civilization.

Bear in mind that laws passed to disarm Americans only work when Americans voluntarily comply.

» Who Needs the Family?

Governments have come to serve as undying guardians of human society, ushering new life into the world and ushering old life out of it. New parents are as likely to turn to the government for help as they are to their extended family. When their child is old enough to look around for a career, it is the government that they expect to provide the education and the jobs. And when they grow old, the child can keep on working at his government job and paying off his student loans knowing that the government will be there to make all the difficult and expensive decisions about their care.
…..
Unfortunately not only can’t the state do any of these things better than the family, but it can’t do them at all without the family. And the family has collapsed, falling apart into disassociated lonely individuals, looking for their father and mother, their children and their future, in the great soulless body of the state.

“The State is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else,” …..

Just Defective Parts
» Obama ignores DOJ researchers who conclude assault weapons ban won’t cut gun violence

Justice Department researchers have concluded that an assault weapons ban is “unlikely to have an effect on gun violence,” but President Obama has not accepted their report as his administration’s official position.

I don’t know if the research report was asked for by the administration, but it’s obvious that the administration does not like nor agree with the conclusions of it’s own researchers.

“Since assault weapons are not a major contributor to US gun homicide and the existing stock of guns is large, an assault weapon ban is unlikely to have an impact on gun violence,” the DOJ’s National Institute for Justice explains in a January 4 report obtained by the National Rifle Association. “If coupled with a gun buyback and no exemptions then it could be effective.” That idea is also undermined by the acknowledgement that “a complete elimination of assault weapons would not have a large impact on gun homicides.”

To summarize, the report is saying that total elimination of “”"”"assault weapons”"”" would result in NO reduction of violence – and at the same time saying that the only way to reduce the numbers of these types of weapons is to simply take them.

“The Administration has never supported a gun registry or gun confiscation,” a DOJ official told Talking Points Memo

That is a lie.

…. adding that the January 4 report does “not represent the position of the Department of Justice or the administration.”

So according to the administration, the researchers, who developed a report so incongruent with the administration’s agenda, are wrong. They are (were?) a part of the administration’s DOJ machine, but obviously they don’t work right anymore – defective parts. Soon to be discarded and replaced?

Infringe : Act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on:
» NY State bill to require liability insurance as condition of gun ownership
New York has already passed severe gun control laws that make it illegal to own “certain types” of firearms. Not having the guts to extend their treachery to include all guns (as they most certainly will when the time is right), they are also working on measures to make it as expensive and laborious as possible for a citizen to keep and bear the arms not being stolen by tyrants.

A bill was introduced in the State Assembly by Felix Ortiz (D-Brooklyn) that would require citizens of New York to acquire liability insurance as a condition to gun ownership.

Bill S2353 will require all gun owners in NY to obtain and “continuously maintain” insurance coverage of at least $1 million, or they will suffer “immediate revocation of such owner’s registration, license and any other privilege to own” a firearm.

If the citizen fails to obtain the insurance, then by simply owning the firearm, they will be in violation of the law.

So much for dhimmicrats proclaimed reverence of the Constitution. The 2nd amendment’s use of the word infringe is either ignored by dhimmicrats or perhaps they have their own definition of the word.

Onerous insurance requirements for gun ownership are designed (and function as designed) to limit the ability of individuals to own firearms and therefore undermines their right to do so. That is the definition of the word infringe.
Infringe is exactly what the 2nd amendment of the Constitution forbids them from doing.

Yet they do it. And in doing it have violated their oath to uphold the Constitution. In violation of their oaths they have committed crime.

Two for the Price of One
» ‘ORWELLIAN’: PROPOSED GUN LAW IN WASHINGTON STATE CALLS ON POLICE TO INSPECT THE HOMES OF ‘ASSAULT WEAPON’ OWNERS

Democrats in both California and Missouri have proposed legislation that would result in possible confiscation of semi-automatic rifles.

Now, Democratic lawmakers in Olympia, Wash. last week introduced legislation that would allow county sheriffs to inspect the homes of semi-automatic rifle owners once a year

Washington State dhimmicrats are going for the blue ribbon, the title of most Constitutional violations in one bill. Not only are they spitting on the 2nd amendment, they’re gonna trample on the 4th amendment at the same time.

Confiscation of arms, unannounced and unwarranted search of private property – sounds familiar. Where did I read something like that? Oh yea, it was in the Enemies Foreign and Domestic series by Matthew Bracken …. as mentioned above. You did check that out didn’t you?

Violation of the Constitution, breach of trust and treason are not enough to satisfy the Leftist’s appetite for tyranny; they need to ridicule and insult our intelligence too:

Yea, Leftist’s are all about feelings aren’t they? You may feel like you’re being threatened. You make feel like you’re being raped. You may feel like you’re being murdered ….

I FEEL like my country is being threatened, raped and murdered. I FEEL like fighting.

The Dhimmicrat Party has an unlimited supply of morons.

If I use a ballpoint pen to assault someone, even in self defense, as a weapon – then it is as much an assault weapon as my AR … more so since I’ve never used my AR against another person. So the fact that ballpoint pens can be used as a weapon in an assault, as is now established my Moron Ulaberri, then ballpoint pens must be banned in Colorado.

NuffsNuff, You Get What You Tolerate.

This is Comcast Headquarters. Where the patronage of legitimate and legal business is denied on a whim based on their intolerance of the Constitution.

This is a small bakery that can and would be sued out of existence (possibly by the government) if they dared to deny patronage to a homosexual based on the moral beliefs of their Constitutionally-protected religion.

» Chu renounces his desire for higher gas prices

President Obama’s Energy Secretary, Steven Chu, renounced his previously-stated desire to see gas prices rise to match European levels in order to motivate alternative energy research, telling the Senate today that he wants gas prices to fall for the sake of the economy.

“We have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,” Chu said in 2008. When reminded of that comment today during his congressional testimony, Chu backed away from that position.

“I no longer share that view,” Chu told Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, today. “When I became Secretary of Energy, I represented the United States government, and I think right now in this econonic, very slow, return — these prices could very well affect the comeback of our economy,” he added

Lemme Summit Furya
Is Chu stupid? Seriously. I think that’s a legitimate question.
Not because he wanted gas prices up around $10 a gallon. Not because he’s changed his mind. The question is relevant due to the stated reason for wanting the high prices, and the stated reason for changing his mind.

He wanted high gas prices then to promote development of “green energy” because “When I became Secretary of Energy, I represented the United States government” but now that he’s not part of the administration “I think right now …. these prices could very well affect the comeback of our economy

In other words, he was willing (as a cog in the socialist green machine) to destroy the economy. So, the United States government is trying to destroy the economy using greenie BS as an excuse.

Moral of the story, either (THHO)Obama is to stupid to remember what he said before, or he thinks you are too stupid to remember what he said before.

Or both.

» BEING SHOT GAVE THIS COLUMBINE SURVIVOR STRONG VIEWS ON GUN CONTROL — HERE’S WHY HE OPPOSES MORE RESTRICTIONS

…. He was the first student shot in the library during a massacre that claimed 12 students and one teacher and went down as one of the worst school assaults in U.S. history.

Since that terrifying day, Todd has been active and open about his views on social and political issues, including gun control. But rather than fight against weapons, he’s been vocal that he doesn’t believe firearms are the culprit. In fact, the survivor is so staunch that he tells TheBlaze he’s come to view gun control as “a theory that creates an illusion of safety, but unfortunately has devastating consequences in reality.”

Logic is irrelevant.

Liberals, globalZ-warmZ idiots, preparing to use violence, bombs, or whatever is necessary to prevent energy independence of America. I assume they will draw the line at stooping so low as to use a gun or two.

The idiot interviewed in the video stated his fear of burning all the oil in one day. While it’s true that burning all the oil in one day would result in dire consequences to the environment …. it is also not even remotely possible to do.
Furthermore, if greenie-boy drank four gallons of water in one day he would die of water poisoning.

» If You Read Just One Civilian Disarmanent-Related Article Today, This is the One to Read

The Saratoga [NY] County Deputy Sheriff’s Police Benevolent Association’s letter to the New York pols who passed the so-called SAFE Act was sent January 24. It’s a must-read missive for anyone who cherishes their right to keep and bear arms. Or anyone who believes that the government of the United States should be by the people for the people, according to limits established by the Constitution. Make the jump, read it and weep. ….. And then steel yourself. This is going to be a long, ugly fight. For tens of millions of patriotic Americans, losing it isn’t an option . . .

» Constitutional Security Force Develops As Result of Police Chief’s Efforts

I wrote last week about Police Chief Mark Kessler’s call to citizens of Gilberton Borough, Pennsylvania to join him and his police department in putting together a “reserve force” that could be called upon to help defend the city in the event of a foreign invasion or more precisely an invasion of the Federal government to confiscate firearms. Well, the response by readers and police departments across the country has been nothing short of incredible and as a result Kessler has expanded his small town “reserve force” to now include states nationwide. He is now referring to the movement as a “Constitutional Security Force.”

Without organized resistance, the rapid slide toward Soviet-style totalitarian collectivism will only continue to gather momentum. The gangrene of liberalism may have eaten so deep that America cannot be saved. But we won’t know for sure so long as true Americans are still breathing.

» Oh, please, Mr. Obama: please save us from the Sequester that you created!

The fact that this sequester business is only $85 billion — the fact that none of this would happen, the fact that there’s no Republican who wants any of this to happen, the fact that it’s other people’s idea — is irrelevant in terms of the people Obama trying to reach. This whole sequester is his idea! In fact, I’ve revised my thinking. I think he wants the sequester to happen because I think he wants to cut down the US military, in a big way. Most liberals do. Here it’s gonna happen automatically. He’s not gonna have to do anything but sit around and let it, but he’s gonna score some political points along the way.
