» Senator Feinstein’s ‘Cross Lobby’?

Today, Senator Dianne Feinstein opened her press conference on assault weapons with a word of prayer. Reverend Gary Hall gave the opening prayer at the weapons ban presser, but also had a few other choice things to say. He reminded lawmakers to fear not the gun lobby and that they had a moral obligation to restrict guns. Who remembers when our lawmakers had a moral responsibility to defend the Constitution and the United States of America?

As the good Reverend continued running his mouth he made another statement and it took the cake. Hall said that everyone in D.C. lives in fear of the gun lobby, however, he believes that the gun lobby is no match for the “cross lobby.” I cannot imagine a more arrogant and hypocritical statement from a liberal.

…..
I always find it comical that the left weeps and laments the death of children at the hands of mass murders and spree killers but never bats an eye at the literal holocaust of unborn children. Not only do they seem to find no similarities between the murder of kindergarteners and those who have not even left the womb, but they also feel we as American taxpayers should fund these murders.
….
As much as it saddens the heart that children do die at the hands of sick and twisted members of our society, it saddens me more that the very same people that seek to end the murders of school children, like those at Sandy Hook, are all too ready to murder the unborn and are willing to force you to pay for it.

» The ‘40 Percent’ Myth

Gun-control advocates have recently been throwing around an impressive new number. President Obama used it last Wednesday, claiming: “as many as 40 percent of guns are purchased without a background check.” Vice President Biden and everyone from the New York Times to the Wall Street Journal to USA Today repeatedly use it. That “fact” provided the principal support for his first announced gun-control proposal, “universal background checks.” But unless you include family inheritances and gifts as “purchases,” it is simply false.

Where Does Your Sheriff Stand?

New Mexico:
»  State’s sheriffs defend 2nd Amendment

30 of the state’s 33 county sheriff’s want to remind everybody that they are under oath to support the U.S. Constitution, and that includes the Second Amendment – the right to bear arms.

Utah :
» 28 of the 29 sheriffs sent a letter to President Barack Obama

We respect the Office of the President of the United States of America. But, make not mistake, as the duly-elected sheriffs of our respective counties, we will enforce the rights guaranteed to our citizens by the Constitution. No federal official will be permitted to descend upon our constituents and take from them what the Bill of Rights – particular Amendment II – has given them. We, like you, swore a solemn oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and we are prepared to trade our lives for the preservation of its traditional interpretation.

» Beaver County Sheriff, Letter to Obama

…. With the number of mass shootings America has endured, it is easy to demonize firearms; it is also foolish and prejudice

» Coos County sheriff addresses shootings, 2nd Amendment

I’m not going to turn otherwise honest citizens into criminals because of some misguided efforts from the U.S. Capitol

» Douglas County Sheriff opposes gun control

Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin sent a letter to Vice President Joe Biden saying that he “will refuse to participate in or tolerate enforcement actions against citizens that are deemed unconstitutional”.

» Grant County Sheriff’s Letter to Biden

…. We have a history with customs and cultures that will support and defend the Second Amendment as well as the Oregon Constitution. The Oath that I swore to is to support and defend our constitutions from enemies, both foreign and domestic.

I will not tolerate nor will I permit any federal incursion within the exterior boundaries of Grant County, Oregon, where any type of gun control legislation aimed at disarming law abiding citizens is the goal or objective. We live in a free society and firearms ownership and the right to defend ones self from becoming a victim of a criminal act or from a far reaching government attempting to enact laws that are unconstitutional.

As Sheriff for Grant County, Oregon, I too will publicly state that I will refuse to participate, or stand idly by, while the people I represent are made into criminals due to your unconstitutional actions

» Josephine County Sheriff’s Letter to Biden

No nation in the world can do more damage to the United States than we can inflict upon ourselves. We are keenly aware of just that by the accelerated pace in which our central (federal) government is usurping the Constitution.
….. any rule, regulation, or executive order repugnant to the constitutional rights of the citizens of this County will be ignored by this Office, nor will this office, or the citizens, allow enforcement of unconstitutional activities by federal officers.
We refuse to participate, or allow our law-abiding citizens to be criminalized through constitutionally repugnant actions by miguided intentions or politicians.

» Malheur County Sheriff, Letter to Biden

As Sheriff of Malheur County Oregon, I took an oath to support the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Oregon …. I cannot and will not stand idly by while the Constitutional rights of the citizens of this great country are violated by misguided government officials.

» Linn CountySheriff WILL NOT Enforce Any ‘Overreaching And Unconstitutional Firearms Restrictions’

…. any overreaching and unconstitutional firearms restrictions, we would not participate in enforcing or would we stand idly by and let it happen in our county,” said Sheriff Mueller.

The sheriff also said that he does not believe that new legislation will change the safety and security of children in schools but rather that it’s just another agenda of the Obama administration.

“It’s absolutely another agenda, it has been their agenda for some time…it’s been on their agenda for years, it’s nothing new.”
….
I think that they would be pretty negligent in thinking that nothing bad is going to happen if people go out there – if federal agents go out to enforce that on otherwise honest citizens. That’s going to be a bad day in any county in America if that comes to it.”

» Curry County Sheriff Letter to Obama

Any federal regulation enacted by Congress or by Executive Order of the President offending the constitutional rights of my citizens shall not be enforced by me or my deputies, nor will I permit the enforcement of any unconstitutional regulations or orders by federal officers within the borders of Curry County, Oregon.

In summary, it is the position of this Sheriff that I refuse to participate, or stand idly by, while my citizens are turned into criminals due to the unconstitutional actions of misguided politicians.

California
» Stanislaus County Sheriff, Letter to Biden

In accordance with the Constitution of the United States and the statutes of the State of
California, I believe that every law abiding adult citizen has the right to acquire, own, possess,
use, keep and bear firearms. I refuse to take firearms from law abiding citizens and will not turn
law abiding citizens into criminals by enforcing useless gun control legislation
…. California has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation yet we continue to take guns
from criminals every day. The laws we enforce now have no effect on reducing gun violence or
preventing criminals from obtaining and using firearms to commit crimes.

» Siskiyou Country Sheriff Letter to Sen. Feinstein

…. I am strongly opposed to the pending legislation and/or executive orders designed to violate the constitutional rights of the citizens I serve
…. We already have too many complex and confusing federal and state gun laws.

Missouri
» Johnson County Sheriff Letter to Obama

…. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution has long guaranteed our citizens the right to keep and bear arms and is central to our ability to live in a free society. Any attempt to restrict these Second Amendment rights through executive order is unconstitutional and tantamount to an all-out assault on the United States Constitution. Just as the Fourth Amendment to the constitution guarantees our citizens the right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable search and seizure, the Second Amendment guarantees each of us the right to keep and bear arms to protect ourselves from anyone who would seek to cause us harm. This was stated by our founding fathers to which they also included the federal government.
…. I will most certainly urge my fellow Sheriffs in the State of Missouri and across this great nation to rise to the defense and aid of all Americans should the federal government attempt to enact any legislation, or executive order that impedes, erodes, or otherwise diminishes their constitutional right to keep and bear arms. I will use all means legal to meet this solemn and sacred responsibility.

» Livingston County Sheriff, Letter to Obama

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution has long guaranteed our citizens the right to keep and bare arms and is central to our ability to live in a free society. Any attempt to restrict these Second Amendment rights through executive order is in my opinion unconstitutional and tantamount to an all-out assault on the United States Constitution.

Kentucky
» Eastern Kentucky sheriff says he will not enforce gun laws he considers unconstitutional

“My office will not comply with any federal actions which violate the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore to uphold.” …. concerned that new gun control laws could lead to bans and even the confiscation of guns.

“American citizens already have given up too much power over guns,”

“I will not enforce an unconstitutional law against any citizen in Smith County. It just won’t happen.”

Florida
» Martin Co. Sheriff says his department can’t support Federal gun rules

…. says he is against an assault weapons ban and a ban on high-capacity magazines.

Kansas
» Johnson County Sheriff : Where I Stand on Unilateral Personal Disarmament (Gun Control)

From reading the proposed changes and suggestions for future legislation from Washington, I see nothing whatsoever that would have prevented these past atrocities from occurring, nor do they pretend to effectively prevent future incidents from happening. We seem to be caught up in a tidal wave of mindless emotion that demands, “Do SOMETHING! Even if we know it is ineffective, meaningless and purely symbolic!” Even in our national grief, we must adhere to reason and logic.
…. Logic dictates to us that armed individuals; whether armed private individuals or hired security personnel, are the answer to prevent future tragedies in those places that we have inadvertently made free-fire zones with the totally useless “No Guns Allowed” signs.
…. The militia mentioned in the Second Amendment pertains to all able-bodied citizens capable of bearing arms. That is US! “to Keep and Bear arms” means, “to OWN and CARRY arms.”
As Sheriff, I will never support, nor advocate for, ANY legislation at ANY level (local, state or federal) that would restrict the legal possession or ownership of any type of firearm (or high-capacity magazine) by lawful, law-abiding, tax-paying citizens of Johnson County, Kansas and of the United States of America.

» Don’t Be Distracted from Their Real Goals

Let’s skip the crap: Democrats have zero chance of passing Dianne Feinstein’s fantasy ban on semi-automatic rifles through the Senate, much less the House of Representatives.

It isn’t even their real goal. It’s a tactical diversion
….
What Feinstein and her fellow bullies want is to browbeat legislators to “compromise.”

In Democratese, “compromise” is when they demand a dozen liberties be stripped from you, and give the most outlandish rights away and “accept” just one or two of your freedoms being stripped away.

» State Department Had No $$$ for Benghazi Security, Did Have $16 Mil for Kindles and $4.5 for Art

According to Hillary Clinton’s long-delayed Benghazigate testimony, the State Department just did not have enough money to provide security for a mission in one of the most dangerous places in the world.

Or maybe what she meant was they had already shot their budget and then there was no money left for security.

$16 million for Kindle readers, $150,000 for one book, $79,000 worth of Obama’s best-selling books, $20,000 on a portrait of Obama and $150,000 for a single Chevy Volt …. and on, and on, and on …..

The State Department just had no money in its 50 billion dollar budget to pay for Benghazi security. None at all.

» WHY DO THEY DESPISE THE BILL OF RIGHTS? Gun dealers report Intuit has stopped processing credit-card payments

These companies benefit from America’s free-market system. Its respect for private property and the rule of law.

But they hate America’s founding document, the Declaration of Independence. And they despise America’s highest law, the Constitution.

How else to explain their animosity for the Bill of Rights and, most of all, the Second Amendment? Are they simply currying favor with the current administration? Are they fans of authoritarianism? Or are they just dimwits?

» Gun Owners Refuse to Register Under New York Law

After Democrats in New York rammed a sweeping assault on the right to keep and bear arms through the legislature …. gun owners and even some lawmakers are planning what has been dubbed potentially the largest act of civil disobedience in state history. According to news reports, gun rights activists are urging everyone to defy far-left Governor Andrew Cuomo’s new registration mandate while daring authorities to “come and take it.”

» Manchin backpedals on gun control after constituents confront him

The NYT mentions Jean Shaheen (D-NH), whose state produces Rugers and Sig Sauers. There’s also Kay Hagan of North Carolina, who has to be rather cognizant of the Democratic collapse in her state last November. Survey USA polled voters in North Carolina on the gun-control issue, and found that 54% believe it’s more important to protect the right to own weapons than to restrict access to them. While there is some support for limiting magazine capacities, almost two-thirds (63%) want better enforcement of existing legislation rather than new laws. In a multi-answer question, a large plurality said that better security (41%) would better address school shootings, while only 18% chose making access to guns more difficult. Almost the same percentage (16%) chose better access to mental-health resources.

The magnitude of Kay Hagan’s cognizance – in any matter – is debatable. Hagan’s record so far would indicate she gets her orders from the Oval Office instead of back home.

Like the push to promote homosexuality, this confirms that the liberals in charge see the military as a social engineering laboratory, in which they can exploit the command structure to inflict their will without having to wait years for media brainwashing to take effect. At best, they don’t care whether we win wars. At worst, they are actively seeking to destroy morale and fighting effectiveness — which would not be surprising, considering that it is a cornerstone of leftist ideology that the USA is the source of most that is wrong with the world.

Couple this with Jarrett, Pfeiffer, and Obama’s strange signaling that the debate over the scope of government is over — presumably, victory has been granted to the post-constitutionalists by a 51% “mandate,” giving the President and his leftist cabal the populist sympathy to act outside the current system of government, which Pfeiffer noted is unsuitable for getting things done, and is antiquated insofar as it prevents Obama from acting the role of world-shaper and imperial President. A king, if you will.

» We Must Do Something About The Media

It’s important.
….
What we are witnessing is the full and seamless fusion of media power with government power.

The media used to hide it a bit, in their actions; they would temper their scorn of conservatism, throw them a bone now and again just to prove they were capable of such a thing.

No longer. The media no longer hides it in their actions. They are fully fused with the Obama Administration and DNC. The only way in which they do hide it is by simply lying when confronted about it: They’ll issue a snide denial, then go about doing precisely what it is they were accused of doing.
