Morning Short Post … more later today.
Anyone familiar with Obama’s radical background will find this Facebook post by author Jim Garrow as believable as it is terrifying:
I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new “litmus test” in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. “The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not”. Those who will not are being removed.
Garrow is a respected activist who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work rescuing baby girls from one-child China. His source is “one of America’s foremost military heroes.”
This certainly gives the urgent drive to disarm law-abiding citizens some perspective. It could also help us make sense of massive ammunition purchases by the increasingly frightening Department of Homeland Security.
I often hesitate to relay what can best be described as speculation based on anonymous sources. I hesitated on this one.
But it does ring true for a couple of reasons, regardless of the lack of substantiation.
The top end of our military has been under sporadic leftist rendering ever since the Carter administration. It got worse under Clinton, who sorely disliked servicemen and even more so under Obama who sorely hates them.
After 30 years of leftists burrowing around in the federal government it’s not unlikely, at all, that this is not only true but the frost on the tip of the iceberg.
However, when the leftist, treasonous generals decide it’s time to start shooting Americans I don’t think they’re going to have as many willing trigger fingers as they think they do. While the scum rises to the top, the rank and file of our military – the majority – joined and serve because they believe in the America that Obama and his little leftist generals want to transform into something else.
The association also called on Obama to push his efforts through Congress, not executive orders with no debate. “Please remember that the Founders of this great nation created the Constitution, and its accompanying Bill of Rights, an effort to protect citizens from all forms of tyrannical subjugation.”
In a direct warning to Obama, the FBI and other agencies, the sheriffs wrote: “Make no mistake, as the duly-elected sheriffs of our respective counties, we will enforce the rights guaranteed to our citizens by the Constitution. No federal official will be permitted to descend upon our constituents and take from them what the Bill of Rights–in particular Amendment II–has given them.”
While he wants an assault weapons ban and limits on ammo magazines, the president has not yet suggested he wants to confiscate guns.

…. it is worth asking, who had the foresight back in 2008 to see where all of this was going and to stand vigorously against it?
Led by Christopher Kennedy, son of slain 1968 U.S. Presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, Bill Ayers was denied the honorary emeritus faculty status at the University of Illinois today.
Christopher Kennedy, one of the University of Illinois trustees delivered an impassioned plea to the other board members in Urbana, Illinois to reject Ayers. Kennedy, who was four years old when his father was assassinated, said that he cannot and will not honor a man who has written a book – “Prairie Fire” – that was dedicated to the man who killed his father, Sirhan Sirhan.
…. it would be extremely incorrect for the Illinois institution of advanced learning to honor a man with a political past such as Bill Ayers has.
Oh say, can you see
Neath the commie’s hoofed feet
On February 16, 1970, someone planted a bomb at San Francisco’s Park Police Station. It was placed in a window of the business office and timed to explode at shift change, when the maximum number of officers would be there, either finishing up or starting their work.
It was a powerful blast, throwing one officer in the station parking lot completely over his patrol car and sending shrapnel for over two city blocks. The bomb fortunately detonated a few minutes early so the destruction was less than it might have been. Still, nine were wounded, one — Officer Robert Fogarty — badly enough that he retired from the force on disability, and one, Sergeant Brian McDonnell, 45 year old married father of two, was killed.
Given the Attorney General’s apparent sympathy for terrorists, and Bill Ayers’ perceived status as President Obama’s friend and mentor, the Justice Department may be reluctant to provide all of the evidence in the Park Station bombing case unless they are forced to do so.
That article is from 2009, back when conservatives were still trying to warn America of the nature of the scoundrel we had just elected as president. And you know where that went? Deaf Ears, Blind Eyes.
In case anyone takes offense at the title of the article “Guilty as Hell, Free as a Bird”, you shouldn’t …. those are Bill Ayers own words:
» The Bomber as School Reformer
Back in the early eighties, in an interview with David Horowitz and Peter Collier, Bill Ayers remembered his reaction upon learning that he would not be prosecuted by the government for his bombing spree as a member of the Weather Underground. “Guilty as hell, free as a bird—America is a great country,” he exulted
And that should give you a good idea of the mindset of the some of the people that teach your children. Any wonder that multiple generations of young Americans have grown into raving, sniveling anti-America leftists?
Oh, and by the way, if my memory serves, Sirhan Sirhan was a palestinian. A palestinian assassinated a former United States Attorney General and presidential candidate … in a gun-free zone, no doubt.
What the “mainstream” conservatives fear most of all is a drift to the right. Some of this is the whimper of whipped dogs. Every party to the right of Stalin has had to spend decades fending off accusations that it was the second coming of the Third Reich, the KKK and Genghis Khan. The Pavlovian training has taken hold and every conservative echelon is expert at going into damage control mode when it senses that its own right might do something that would give the left fuel for their accusations.
The one thing that worries them is the ascendance of the right. They don’t much like their own base. It’s angry, noisy and ignorant. It doesn’t understand the rules of the game. And it represents a threat to their careers.
…. the real right, those angry people with quaint ideas about personal freedom, moral revival and national greatness, are expected to know their place. And their place is behind the sawhorses at the rally and in line at the voting booth. When that changes, then they attack their own right with far more vehemence and violence than they ever employ against the left.
As long as the left does its work, the moderate conservative leaders will always have a place, if not in the sun, than in the comfortable shade. They have no real enemies to the left. Their enemies are to the right.
