Nothing yet, have they seen.
They have now crossed swords with the American Gun Culture

» Photos of man with rifle in Utah store go viral
Cindy Yorgason took photos of a man shopping with a big gun slung over his shoulder and posted them on Facebook, where they received hundreds of comments and have since been shared more than a thousand times.
How many people in the store ran screaming in terror? None.
Why not? A man with a “big” gun, in an area with hundreds of walking targets, and nobody ran? Nobody fainted? More surprising than all that – nobody got shot.
Dagummit Utah, didn’t you get the memo? Have you not memorized the narrative? Yer doing it all wrong! Now get back in that store and start screaming.
“The principle is simple: no budget, no pay,” said Speaker John Boehner. “Before there is any long-term debt limit increase, a budget should be passed that cuts spending.”
The last time Senate Democrats passed a budget was April 29, 2009 – nearly four years ago – “a shameful run that needs to end,” says Speaker Boehner. The Wall Street Journal said, while “the House works its will, the Senate does crossword puzzles.”
“We should cut Washington’s budget, not your family’s budget,” says Rep. Lankford. House Republicans have already passed two budgets that cut spending and address our debt. Rep. Lankford says the House will pass another one to “pay our bills and keep the government running” – one that “walks our nation out of debt, deficit and decline.”
President Obama has missed the legal deadline for submitting a budget more than any previous president, and suggested this year’s budget will be late too. “Ordinary folks … meet deadlines,” says the president. He just can’t seem to meet his.
President Obama’s jobs council hasn’t officially met in more than a year. The House, on the other hand, passed 40 jobs bills that were blocked by Senate Democrats.
Fitch Ratings made it clear that our national debt is undermining our economy and spending needs to be cut. Driven by out-of-control spending, more than $5 trillion has been added to the national debt since Senate Democrats last passed a budget.
Please take note of this. Democratic Senators are a funny bunch, sometimes. Point out that they’re mandated, Constitutionally, to pass a budget every year? They yawn. Remind them that it’s rank hypocrisy to lecture people on fiscal responsibility when they won’t show any? You get a shrug in response. Observe that shenanigans like Senate Democrats not doing a budget since 2009 is one major reason why people hate Congress more than Nickleback? They’ll just chuckle and smirk.
But threaten not to pay them, and… well. Suddenly it’s Civics Week at the Senate.
I really wish that we didn’t have to threaten Democratic Senators with docking their pay to make them act like, well, United States Senators. But apparently we do.
67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas.
…. Those are the crowded cities of Obamerica. The places with the most restrictive gun control laws and the highest crime rates.
Obama won every major city in the election, except for Jacksonville and Salt Lake City. And the higher the death rate, the bigger his victory. He won New Orleans by 80 to 17 where the murder rate is ten times higher than the national average. He won Detroit, where the murder rate of 53 per 100,000 people is the second highest in the country and twice as high as any country in the world, including the Congo and South Africa. He won it 73 to 26. And then he celebrated his victory in Chicago where the murder rate is three times the statewide average.
These places aren’t America. They’re Obamerica.
America once dreamed of colonizing the Moon and putting a man on the planet Mars. Now it appears as though the United States has abandoned those dreams, in addition to those policies that create prosperity. Don’t fret. Bill Whittle sees promise on the horizon, like the abundance of natural gas and promise of private sector space travel. Hear more.
He forgot to say Do it Fast and Do it Furiously
Trying to eliminate the competition there, little man?
She daWanna Grow Up, she’s a Liberal Kid ….
A FEW years ago, I awoke at 2:30 a.m. to more than a “rapping, rapping at my chamber door.” It was a full-force pounding of a body trying to break into my little house in Washington, D.C. It was the sound and scenario that, as a single woman living alone, I feared more than spiders in the house.
…. I watched as the wood expanded with each pound. The white paint splintered some. The deadbolt held at the top, but the bottom half of the door popped open, letting in the steam heat from the summer night. I took that chair and slammed it so the side pushed the door back in line with the frame. I held that chair with everything my 5 foot 3 inches had.
…. While I held that chair with all of my strength, I wished that I had had a gun because if he had gotten in, then I could have pointed it at him, maybe deterred him and if necessary pulled the trigger.
Fortunately she was one of the few who were saved, just in nick of time, by the arrival of police – men with guns. For a brief period she almost grew up, almost accepted the responsibility of defending herself, almost made the leap of bravery to extend her “5 foot 3 inches” with a weapon of equalization.
So I looked at guns …. Then I stopped …. I remembered who I am.
She remembered that she is a coward, a sheep and forever a victim. She remembered she’s a liberal, using the excuse of past depression to avoid the weight of the responsibility to protect herself, to not have to live in fear of the next door-crasher.
Saith the coward:
Please take away my Second Amendment right. Do more to help us protect ourselves because what’s most likely to wake me in the early hours isn’t a man’s body slamming at my door but depression …
Note she says take away “my” right, but then says help “us” protect ourselves.
Perhaps the most note-worthy part of the article is the very last line:

» Democrats: The Party of Criminals
The Filthy Rotten Party of Corruption, Treason, Fraud, Sodomy and Abortion is represented in Congress by such vicious specimens as Harry Reid, Charlie Rangel, Robert Menendez and Jim Moran.
But the party elects thieves and thugs at every level, which explains why suburban Richmond is represented in the Virginia House of Delegates by a disbarred, disgraced and divorced ex-lawyer who wants to disarm law-abiding citizens ….
Clearly, Joseph Morrissey is a menace to society, which is why he could only be elected to office as a Democrat, indicating that the 74th District is a wretched hive of scum and villainy.
No decent, honest and intelligent person would associate themselves with the vile creatures elected to office as Democrats, who believe in a government of the criminals, by the criminals, for the criminals.
“These semi-automatic weapons, these assault weapons, can only kill people, and in fact, they are threats to national security … the young man who did the killing in Aurora, Colorado … he could shoot down airplanes, so this is a matter of homeland security as well”

» Obama to be No-Show at ‘Heroes’ Ball
No other president, since the inception of the Medal of Honor Inaugural Ball, has ever missed it. This will (THHO)Obama’s second miss.
In a way, I understand why. (THHO)Obama despises being the most worthless person in a crowd – even though he should have gotten used to that a long time ago.
Medals and decorations are not classified, nor are their citations. And there are always records of legitimate awards and decorations.
But there actually was a classified Medal of Honor, once – some 60+ years ago. Or, more precisely: the fact that the Medal of Honor had been awarded to a particular individual was classified. And that singular example was declassified after a period of a bit over 2 years ….
Tom Foreman, a CNN anchor and reporter, revealed that he has written a letter to President Obama every day of his first term.
That’s Every. Single. Day.
I can’t recall in 45 years of media watching ever coming across anything as corrupting to professional journalism as this. He actually expected the president — the man he is paid to cover according to the ethics and standards (a stretch with CNN, I know) of professional journalism — to call and chat him up on an informal and friendly basis. It’s hard to pick what’s more bizarre — his belief that his pitiful missives actually stimulated the thinking of the president of the United States, or that he could entertain the idea of developing a personal relationship with Barack Obama.
Why is this guy still working for CNN? The revelation that he had engaged in this fantasy for four years should have elicited sympathy from his bosses — and a paid trip to a sanitarium — or a pink slip.
What does it say about CNN that they did neither?
On August 1, 2009–just seven months into President Barack Obama’s first term–former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin predicted Obama would attempt to leverage health care to “take away” the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
…. more than three years after Palin’s warning–Obama did exactly what the former governor forecasted.
