» Read the Powerful Letter a Fort Hood Solider Penned Asking for His ‘God-Given Right’ to Arm Himself on Base

It happened again, and will happen again, because Fort Hood is a gun free zone.

“When the first shots rang out, my hand reached to my belt for something that wasn’t there. Something that could have put a stop to the bloodshed, could have made it merely an ‘ugly incident’ instead of the horrific massacre that I will surely remember as the darkest twenty minutes of my life

many more died because of the fatally misguided restrictions on the carrying of arms, which obviously the madman did not respect.

» Suit Against SAFE Act Claims it Allows ‘Warrantless’ Police Searches

Under the SAFE Act, the New York Department of Criminal Justice (NYDCJ), the overseer of the database, may declare a person ineligible to own or possess a weapon without any type of judicial process.

Furthermore, the suit argues that if the NYDCJ declares a person ineligible, “such a determination makes the person vulnerable to imminent seizure of all weapons, without a hearing or even an arrest warrant.”

» What Does the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Need with 96 Armed Agents?

That’s right, NOAA — the folks who forecast the weather, monitor the atmosphere and keep tabs on the oceans and waterways — has its own law enforcement division. It has a budget of $65 million and consists of 191 employees, including 96 special agents and 28 enforcement officers who carry weapons.

Note the part about “folks who forecast the weather”? As in the folks who last year predicted above average temperatures for the 2013-2014 winter?
With consideration for their rate of accuracy on that, and juxtaposing it against the rate of accuracy of Farmer’s Almanac couldn’t we just do away with 190 of NOAA employees and change the job description of the one remaining to just reading the Almanac?

Of course, that one employee can keep its automatic assault rifle with grenade launcher and even wear a badge if it wants to.

And I use the word ‘it’ in reference to that employee because within any government administration consisting of one employee, we all know that one employee would be a Spanish-Only-speaking, transgendered, black female with one eye, in a wheelchair, wearing a hijab, whose great-great grandma was 2% Cherokee.

Oh, did I offend someone with that one? Well, I sure as heck meant to and …. oh, wait I forgot to read the rest of the article.

Oftentimes, the armed agents appear to be used more for intimidation than law enforcement. When armed EPA agents come on your property to cite you for violating the Clean Water Act, or because you’ve run afoul of wetlands regulations, you’re probably not going to give them any lip or backtalk. And you will be more inclined to cooperate.

No, not really. Personally, I’d be more inclined to call the Sheriff down on them. You know, my County Sheriff, the only law enforcement officer in the country that has the actual constitutional authority to even ask to come on my property, armed or not.

The FBI is severely constrained by statute as to what kind of crimes for which they can intervene. The EPA, Education Department, NOAA and most other agencies have few, if any restrictions and can bend and shape the law to interpret a mandate just about any way they wish.

If you’ve ever asked the question “Why does the Left try so hard to trivialize the Constitution?”, Alan Caruba provides the answer:
» America’s Suicide Pact with Communism

The Constitution represents a federal government that was granted limited powers. The rest were retained by the States, but Communism and Socialism are based on a strong central government, one ruled by an elite class of intellectuals to oversee all elements of the economy and to set the rules by which everyone must live …

» Blake Farenthold Refused to Question Eric Holder, Who Should Be in Jail for Contempt of Congress

U.S. Congressman Blake Farenthold (R-Texas) refused to question U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder during a House Judiciary hearing. He protested the absence of “maintaining the constitutional balance of power” in Congress and spoke for the average American, who in the same position as Holder, would be in jail. He expressed the frustration we all feel at the lawlessness galloping through government. Important issues grow old, the Left uses the inaction to dismiss it, ‘justice’ becomes laughable, we become jaded.

If an American citizen had not complied with one of the Justice Department subpoenas, they would be in jail, not sitting here in front of us testifying

» ObamaCare Exchanges Fail: 11% Covered Through O-Care 30% Newly Insured on Medicaid, 59% Covered Through Employers

The Progressive agenda with ObamaCare was to build a path to single-payer, government health insurance — everyone on Medicaid. American Medicaid rolls now number more than the population of the United Kingdom.

» Deepening divide over climate change sparks fierce debate

The report stands in stark contrast to the U.N.’s latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report of March 31, which predicts “severe impacts” from climate change, but which was toned down from earlier IPCC reports that predicted an array of global catastrophes resulting from the proliferation of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

The IPCC reports have, through the years, stood as the unassailable foundation for the Obama administration regulatory policy on global warming. “The debate is settled. Climate change is a fact,” Obama said in his 2014 State of the Union Address.

“The dirty little secret is , we are now at 17 years and 8 months of no global warming,” … “Their models have failed year in and year out, ”

“Carbon dioxide does not cause weather to become more extreme, is not causing polar ice and sea ice to melt, is not causing sea level rises to accelerate,”

All of this is leading Congressional doubters to further question an array of EPA regulations the president has unleashed to maneuver around Congressional resistance to cap and trade and other carbon-mitigating legislation.

» Supporters Rally After School Made Students Take Down Rebel Flags

Supt. Gary Wayman met with the students Monday morning to warn them about impending punishments they could endure if they continued to fly the Confederate flag. Wayman said the boys flew the flags from poles sticking up from their pickup trucks.

Rebel flags aside, there’s one aspect of this story that should make us all proud: high school aged men driving pickup trucks – not little Fast & Furious style rice burners with $500 mufflers that make it sound like a chainsaw – but pickup-dagummit-trucks.

And look at the bill on that cap:

Perfectly rolled.

And I guarantee his britches are way above the elastic on this drawers and probly don’t give a durn about no Mtv.

Brings a lil tear to my eye.
