Clemmons is teetering on the edge of proper recognition of gun freedom, and you can help nudge them toward the side of reason.
… did you know that it’s legal to tax a constitutional right and that making a requirement to report the name, address and firearm info to the authorities isn’t ‘really’ registration?
The IRS scandal is not only not over but is getting worse, with a call by New York’s senior senator for the already-politicized agency to use its power to tax to destroy the conservative grass-roots movement.
Even as Dinesh D’Souza is called back to New York to surrender himself to authorities for alleged campaign finance violations that are regarded as misdemeanors when committed by Democrats, the state’s terrifyingly fascistic governor is lowering the bureaucratic boom on Project Veritas, which has earned liberal enmity by exposing the moral rot that characterizes the Left

Secret investigations targeted coincidently at most prominent conservative groups in WI who can only now legally talk about their harassment. If you want to see what American fascism would look like, well this is it.
… there is a small group in Hollywood known as Friends of Abe, a group for conservatives in the entertainment industry. Aside from people who are already established or outed themselves like actors Gary Sinise, Jon Voight and Kelsey Grammer, or the writer-producer Lionel Chetwynd, most of the membership remains secret for the above reasons.
The group recently applied for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to the IRS, to assist their fundraising. Big mistake, according to the New York Times.
Not only was their application held up far longer than similar Leftist groups, but the IRS launched a formal investigation of the group, demanding “detailed information about its meetings”, a list of members and “enhanced access to the website” which also would reveal members names and personal details about them.According to the Times, the investigation is due to “guests who speak to the group who tend to be conservative.”
Friends of Abe doesn’t even permit cameras at its meetings, so you can bet the Obama Administration is salivating at the idea of outing the 1,500 or so members. And it’s not just audits from the IRS for ‘incorrect thought’.
» ObamaCare D-Day in March
A document coming from the administration has recently come to light that discloses the entire ObamaCare program is in jeopardy of collapse.
The focus of the initial repair effort was making the website functional and capable of running more smoothly, probably because the media and public relations problems were causing too many problems for the image of the White House.
But the more significant problems were left unaddressed.
The leadership principle of the White House is not simply to “lead from behind” but also to “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. All hands on deck to preserve the image of Barack Obama as the Messiah. To do otherwise would be sacrilegious as well as lead to more prosaic events-such as being fired.
But the White House can evade responsibility for only so long. The backend was incomplete from Day One and runs the risk of complete breakdown come mid-March when both insured and insurance companies will be looking for accurate subsidies to be sent to pay for coverage. They very well may not get that information or money.
Another day, another dose of bad news for ObamaCare. On Thursday, Moody’s Investor Service announced it was downgrading its outlook for America’s healthcare insurance sector from “stable” to “negative,” due to ObamaCare.
As Fox News reveals, the effort is hardly proceeding as planned. They note that while the administration remains upbeat in public, “privately it fears one part of the system is so flawed it could bankrupt insurance companies and cripple ObamaCare itself.”
That part of the system is the back end.
Socialism: The huge currency devaluations that hit Venezuela and Argentina last week could be seen coming a mile away. This is a warning to the U.S. about big-government spending policies financed by printing money.
The markets have given a resounding vote of no confidence to many emerging-market currencies, triggering sell-offs as far flung as Turkey, Russia and South Africa.
But nowhere were the losses as catastrophic as those in two socialist Latin American countries that have thumbed their noses at fiscal discipline, ruthlessly used printed cash to expand their states and treated their citizens as cash cows, gleefully chasing out thousands of the most productive.
These man-made disasters are due to governments spending more than they have to buy votes. In Argentina, spending rose 50% in the past decade, and in Venezuela it surged 60% in just the past year.
The numbers are so hard, and crisp and predictable, it’s astonishing anyone could be surprised by them.
And that’s what brings to mind the U.S. and its money printing …
At this moment some 4 million people are patiently following the rules, filling out the paperwork, paying the fees, and getting interviews in order to get their chance to immigrate to America legally.
Is there a single thought about accelerating the applications of the folks who are patiently and legally waiting in line?
Without reading any further, I can answer that question. No.
The amnesty crowd gives no thought to legal immigrants. That’s because the people who go to the trouble of legal immigration are far, far less likely to vote Dhimmicrat than those who break our laws to invade our borders.
One strong reason is that it takes a person with superior skills to go through the legal immigration process and by the time they get to America, they are ready to become successful. Very few of these immigrants wind up on street corners begging for tough jobs.
If Congress is to do anything “comprehensive” , it is clear that our legislators must consider national security and the rights of legal immigrants ahead of any such discussion about those who entered the country illegally.
Until Congress addresses those two key issues, there can be no real comprehensive immigration reform.
The Iranians say what they mean and mean what they say. No spin here. Unlike, hmm, oh, say the White House.
Train wreck. Stillborn. Where have we heard these descriptions of an Obama initiative before?
In real life, terrorists are almost always Muslim. In the movie theater, they are anything but. America’s fictional secret agents, covert operatives and rogue cops who play by their own rules have spent more time battling Serbian terrorists than Muslim terrorists.
Despite September 11, the Fort Hood Massacre and the Boston Marathon bombings, Hollywood has resolutely kept its eye on the real threat.
When Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit featured a terrorist cell in Dearborn, even though Muslims dominate the area, the villains were shown operating out of a Russian Orthodox church and getting their cues from a priest reading the bible while the terrorists cried out, “Slava Bogu” or “Praise God.”
It would have been unrealistic to show them praising Allah instead.
Nowhere in all these tales of evil corporations and governments is there a movie about an entertainment industry so intertwined with government that it not only helped pick the country’s current leader, but it constantly releases propaganda films attempting to revise reality according to his worldview. That would be a cliché; much like the idea of that industry filming false flag movies depicting the favorite villains of the Clinton Administration carrying out ridiculously implausible acts of terror to retroactively justify its focus on the Serbs instead of Al Qaeda.
The pigs are naked so I suppose that makes sense. No reason to offend Muslim moderate Malaysia with porcine nudity.
Canadians may be preternaturally measured and polite, but they simply can’t believe how they’ve been treated by President Obama — left hanging humiliatingly on an issue whose merits were settled years ago.
Canada, the Saudi Arabia of oil sands, is committed to developing this priceless resource. Its natural export partner is the United States. But crossing the border requires State Department approval, which means the president decides yes or no.
After three years of review, the State Department found no significant environmental risk to Keystone. Nonetheless, the original route was changedto assuage concerns regarding the Ogallala Aquifer. Obama withheld approval through the 2012 election. To this day he has issued no decision.
A former high-ranking San Francisco government employee convicted of felony possession of child pornography will continue to receive his government pension because, according to city regulations, evidence of “moral turpitude” is required to revoke a pension yet viewing violent kiddie porn does not qualify as moral turpitude.
A recent law defining which type of actions count as “moral turpitude” required to nullify municipal pension benefits does not include sex crimes involving children, and only refers to financial crimes
In case you’re thinking that perhaps this is just an over-reaction to Brinkin possessing some pornography which, unbeknownst to him, just happened to depict minors under the age of 18: Nope. The details of what type of imagery he enjoyed (and what he said about it) are so horrifying and so unimaginably vile that to even describe it feels like a crime. But the exact nature of his conviction is necessary for the reader to assess whether or not Brinkin’s actions should count as “moral turpitude.”
Note that samples of case evidence are provided in the article, but only on the “below the fold” second page, with a content warning.
If you read those samples, you will wonder how Brinkin is still alive. S’matter o fak, given the deviant political history of the city, you will wonder why San Francisco has not been nuked.
The Left finds its foes not just wrong, but morally repugnant.
