» Give thanks for oath-breaking politicians’ fear of an armed citizenry

Be thankful for their fears. Those fears, as the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence reminds us (although they are, of course, decidedly unthankful about it), are what stands between us and the “progressive” utopia they would otherwise inflict on us, if they had the security of a “government monopoly on force.” If those fears become strong enough, perhaps some day we can give thanks for never having been forced to make them come true.

Released on December 4th, the poll shows that 50 percent of Americans oppose more gun control. This is up from 27 percent in January.

» Va. gun sales set record on Black Friday

Gun transactions in Virginia totaled 3,902 on Black Friday, a 1.2 percent increase over the previous record of 3,856 transactions on the same day in 2012

The Black Friday numbers helped boost Virginia’s overall gun transactions to 429,154 through the end of November, or 17.5 percent more than during the same period last year, Virginia Firearms Transaction Center data show.
With an additional 2,539 transactions processed during the first two days of December, Virginia will easily surpass last year’s record of 432,387 transactions. As of Monday, the state had processed 431,693 transactions, just 694 shy of the record.

“If McAuliffe proposes any state-level gun legislation, we could see another surge in sales similar to those in response to fears about national gun control legislation,”

» ‘What Starving Wages?’ America’s Fattest Union Members Protest Walmart Providing Jobs To Poor People

By popular request, here are all the photoshops I produced in a Twitter counter-protests against the fat union members who were using the ‘Black Friday’ anti-Walmart protest to try to spread the union virus that infects this country. I want to make clear that I am not making fun of fat people. I’m making fun of fat union members who pretend to be “starving” while they protest in their twinkie-stuffed XXXXXL pants. So there.

» Liberal rag Mother Jones advocates “living wage” yet encourages own employees to go on food stamps

What does bother me about Mother Jones is their rank hypocrisy! If you search “living wage” on Mother Jones you’ll find dozens of articles criticizing fast food companies, Wal-Mart, and other employers for not paying their employees a high enough wage. You can even find articles advocating paying interns a decent wage. Yet, Mother Jones sees fit to have their own “fellows” sleeping on air mattresses and living on the government dole.

That’s the liberal media for you: do as I say, not as I do. Apparently what’s good enough to slap on the front page of Mother Jones isn’t good enough to actually implement for their own employees.

Lemme Summit Furya
Minimum wages – living wages – starving wages; all empty rhetoric scripted for and provided to ignorant, gullible, leftist, entitlement dupes who don’t have enough sense to know how they’re being used by entities whose goal is to stifle and ultimately exterminate free enterprise, free market captialism. Period.

» Asst. Editor Elias Isquith Declares Obamacare Implementation “Sabotage”

Then they told us it was the law of the land. They are still telling us that one.

When Republicans tried to block and then repeal Obamacare, we were called hostage takers.

Now lefties are calling us saboteurs for merely insisting the Democrats’ preferred healthcare policy solution be implemented as they themselves designed it and passed it over Republican objections.

These people are grade school name callers. They got what they wanted. Now they’re mad at those of us who opposed it for insisting they keep it. And the icing on the cake is them now trying to make a rational argument that Republicans ruined their scheme by thinking bad thoughts.

You excluded Republicans from the process, parroted the Talking Points, and sold it to the gullible elements of the American public.

» Some Harry Reid staffers exempt from Obamacare

This is infuriating. I love the “defense” he gives: “We are just following the law.” As if Harry Reid is nothing more than a helpless bystander and not, you know, a freaking lawmaker who voted for it! One would have to be thoroughly blinded by ideology to not see right through that. Unreal.

It would be awful enough if were simply ignoring a law that he ardently supports, that was written to apply to everyone equally. But this law was specifically written to give the government aristocracy some options that the rest of us serfs simply do not have. And we’re supposed to excuse him because he’s “just following the law”? This is much worse than if he were simply being hypocritical.

As if this weren’t bad enough, the article goes on to quote a former Reid staffer who—get this—blames the Republicans who “made this an issue in the first place.” Umm, what? So Republicans, who didn’t vote for the law, who are instructing their staffers to sign up for it nonetheless, who have no say over what Harry Reid’s staffers do, who simply pointed out that his staffers weren’t on the exchanges, are to blame. Yep. That sounds reasonable.

Again please?

~~ via Fast Feud

It seems that in this great nation, there are still people who are earning more than other people – despite the president’s best efforts to assure that nobody can earn anything at all. And in fact, income inequality has done nothing but grow because of this president’s fiscal policies – with the rich getting richer, and the middle class grasping at part time jobs because there are no other jobs to be had.

Which is why the same president whose signature legislation slashed employee hours and cost them their health insurance is now pushing for a higher minimum wage, so that people can enjoy self-respect and support entire families by flipping burgers.

» Liberal Legal Expert Testifies to Congress: Obama Has Become Danger to Constitution

… the Constitution, the system of separated powers is not simply about stopping one branch of government from usurping another. It’s about protecting the liberty of Americans from the dangers of concentrated government power. How does the president’s unilateral modification of act[s] of Congress affect both the balance of power between the political branches and the liberty interests of the American people?”

The danger is quite severe. The problem with what the president is doing is that he’s not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system. He’s becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid. That is the concentration of power.”
